2003 Hills Under 8s Future Champions
Broome Manor Golf Club
2014 Club Champion
Wrag Barn Golf Club
Ever since I picked up a golf club at the age of 5, I fell in love with the game.
After I won my first trophy at the age of 8 I just got hooked on the game of golf even more
I was forever telling everyone and anyone who would listen that one day, through my commitment and drive to succeed I would become a professional golfer.
I couldn’t wait for each evening after school to get to the driving range practising ready for the weekends competitions at my local golf club Wrag Barn, I just wanted to be at the club practising or competing every minute.
The more I played, the better I found myself getting and the more success I had, just made me want to play even more.
By the age of 12, I was playing off a single figure handicap of 8, three years later this was reduced down to 1, and by the age of 17 I finally reached the milestone of being cut to scratch. This year I have managed to reduce this further and as I turn Pro my handicap stood at +2.
I have also represented my County at all levels from Under 14, 16, 18 boys, as well as the men’s 1st team. In addition to this I have also won numerous tournaments at Club, County and at National levels.
I am 100% dedicated to playing golf, and I am both passionate and committed to becoming the best golfer I can possibly be. I fully appreciate that the requirements of becoming a professional golfer encompass both determination and commitment in all aspects of my life. When not competing in events, I devote my time to training, practising and improving all aspects of my game in order to prepare myself for the challenge of competing at the highest possible level.
So, now 14 years since I first picked up that club, my passion and dedication for the game is still as strong as ever and after another successful year of playing as an amateur, I have decided to take the next natural step and achieve that lifelong ambition and become a professional golfer in 2015.
